QUESTION: The quote from President Hoover stated the safeguard of health and protection of childhood are the unique basis of American civilization. Childhood can not be protected with out available health care. I think that the Americans who are voting against this bill should revert back to this quote and let it remind them why we are here today. Why women are allowed to vote, why we are free from slavery. These are very serious issues that ended in war. The debt of our society is due in part to American health care plans or the lack there of and we as a nation need to realize this will not end in a war against each other it will end with Americans drowning in debt because of emergency room bills and children without healthcare having to wait longer and suffer more because a group of adults can not open their eyes enough to realize that health care in America is not up to the standards it needs to be and that finding a solution for healthcare is more important then the individual political stands that they take on other issues. Why is the health care of our American families not available to everyone?
