    Awesome movie! Intense at times. I had heard of this movie before, however had never seen it! Grab the kleenex box before you start this one!

    It was a wonderful movie and better ti second time. The realities of the Jim Crow south. Its a breathtaking movie.

    "We do what we have to do so we can do what we want to do." What a powerful quote! One that could even be used in so many ways and even in the classroom to motivate students.

    It was a great movie, It made me realize how hard it was for blacks in those days, and how hard it can even be today. It was eye opeing to see how much hate there was in the world toward African Americans. A little disturbing at times, but a good movie.
